Down by the lake
we linked arms
on ole red rooster farm
all the wrongs
we put to a country music song
down by that lake
drinking our gin straight
yodelling the end of every verse
it completely lifted the curse
laughter sure is the best nurse
laughing till we cried, round the lake
later we ate, me an Louise
the finest mac n cheese
troubles no longer our fate
so, if you’re ever feelin sorrowful
sing it loud, yodel it proud!
then nothing’ll feel quite so bad
you’ll no longer be sad
though you’ll sure be glad
for one of the best times you ever had!

I love to have heard you sing that!

You really wouldn’t! I’m absolutely terrible at singing 😂

Great stuff!
What resonated for me are these lines:
“all the wrongs
we put to a country music song”
What kind of reflective muscle do we need to develop to be able to do this?
